We at EnActe Arts have postponed all our programming until June 15th to respond to the COVID health crisis in India with a fundraiser.
EnActe’s Artists for Aid Fundraiser for COVID relief in India will culminate in a 6-hour long Artists For Aid performance with artists from across the world on Saturday, June 5th.
We and all those positively affected by your benevolence will be deeply grateful for your support.
We will acknowledge you in all marketing and social media posts in this event, list you as a friend on our website and acknowledge your help in every show we produce this year.
Our goal is $100,00.
We need to raise $50,000, and every dollar raised will be matched by caring friends of EnActe.

ICU beds and Oxygen Concentrators are the need of the hour.
We have chosen to fund two projects that provide these critical services through Nirmaan.org, a non-profit organization with a proven feet-on- the-ground track record.
ABOUT NIRMAAN
NIRMAAN is an NGO founded in 2005 and run by alumni of BITS, Pilani a prestigious engineering institute in India, who have given up lucrative tech careers, with an impressive track record in sustainable development in education and livelihood.
They have pivoted to crucial COVID relief efforts in these critical times – one such effort being establishing ten-bed ICU units in rural hospitals across India, the project we have chosen to fund.

In Nirmaan we have an incredible feet-on-the-ground organizational structure with a wide footprint, an impressive track record and full transparency.
Every dollar will go into funding solutions.
We know the dedicated staff personally and we will be able to share with you the impact of your dollars in real time.
Their leadership comprises engineers who have given up dynamic, lucrative careers at places like IMB and JPMorgan to devote their lives full time to create scalable, sustainable long term social impact, as well as trained social service staff from places like TISS (Tata Institute of Social Sciences)
Another Nirmaan initiative is BreatheIndia, a pan-India effort that provides patients primary level oxygen support at home instead of in hospital, by sourcing and providing them with an Oxygen Concentrator (OC).
OC’s are sourced from various countries with a rapid pass through customs.
Every OC available for those in need in the general public can potentially save one life a week and save the family from debilitating bills and anxiety around hospitalization.
Deployment in the field is through a carefully chosen set of NGO’s with proven feet on the ground.

Guidelines for performance pieces:
- recorded, no live performance
- 2 – 10 minutes long
- any genre – stand-up comedy, spoken word, poetry, dance, music, song, play, film, monologue or any variation thereof. Language – English, except for songs – any language
- performer ages – 10 and older
- Selection process by EnActe committee.
