Unstitched: A Celebration of the Saree
EnActe Arts is delighted to partner with The Asian Art Museum to present a visual and hands-on experience that explores the uninterrupted history of one of the few garments in the world that have been worn without disruption from ancient times to contemporary times.
Beautiful, sensuous, practical, the saree has quietly shaped the story of South Asia.Â
It has clothed generations through ancient civilizations, colonial rule, and modern times, and today stands as a global symbol of culture and style.Â
