Vinita Sud Belani [Houston/Silicon Valley]
CEO, Artistic Director, and Founder
Vinita transitioned to an Arts career after 20+ years in the corporate world. Her last role was as Vice President of Business Development at SOGETI (CapGemini), Paris, France.
Vinita is an actor, director, and producer. Her recent directing credits include Go to you room, Mother!, Chaos Theory, The Conference of the BIrds, Soundwaves: The Passion of Noor Inayat Khan, Queen and The Case of The Vanishing Firefish. Vinita trained in street theatre with the renowned director and playwright Badal Sircar.
Vinita was a founding Board member of SEED (Schlumberger Excellence in Educational Development). She served on the board of Maitri (and organization that supports survivors of domestic abuse and violence).
Vinita holds a degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, India, an MBA from HEC France, a Diplôme in French from the Sorbonne and a Diplom in German from the Max Mueller Institute.
Dr. Raashina Humayun
Chief Strategy Officer
Raashina Humayun is CFO at EnActe. Over the past few years, Raashina has worn several hats at Enacte Arts – education director, creative at large, costume designer, seamstress, parent in chief, pizza delivery girl and environmental activist among others.
Raashina is an engineer who is on a mission to grow some Arts and Humanities grey cells. She holds a BS and PhD in Chemical Engineering from IIT-Delhi and The Ohio State University respectively and a masters in Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. In a past life, Raashina led product development and innovation in the semiconductor industry and is a prolific inventor with more than 60 patents to her name. Most of the tech we use, carry or wear has her “tiny wires” at its core.
Raashina is also involved in several social and educational causes, she is on the board of the 1947 Partition and volunteers for several organizations. She lives in Los Altos with her husband, two sons, a cat and her garden.

Vijay M. Rajan
Director of Education
Vijay M. Rajan is a writer/director for the screen and stage. His screenplays have been produced into feature and short films–including Kepler’s Dream, the 2018 audience award winner at the Mill Valley Film Festival–and his work has been featured at Tabard Theatre, the Morgan Hill Playhouse, and San Jose Stage. In narrative and/or commercial capacities, Vijay has directed Harrison Ford, Neil Gaiman, Bill Engvall, John Turturro, Rosario Dawson, Chuck Palahniuk, and Deepak Chopra, among others. Vijay is the owner of The Hive SJ, a Bay Area storytelling studio that is pioneering a holistic multi-theory approach to acting, directing, and writing education. As Director of Education for EnActe, Vijay works to provide fine performing arts education to students of all ages. Vijay is a huge proponent of EnActe’s philosophy of universal storytelling from a diversity point of view.

BT Montrym
New Play Development Manager
BT Montrym is a nuanced and incisive nonbinary playwright, screenwriter, actor, and musician. They use metaphor and their particular brand of dry humor to address issues audiences didn’t know they were ready to talk about. Past works include a musical adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the plays Her Vanity, Radiant, and Diminishing Wine, and the darkpop album Chariot. They like odd cerebral video games, heartbreaking musicals, and the occasional rom-com. BT is a huge fan of pugs. They have a BA degree in Women and Gender Studies from Brandeis University with a minor in Theatre Arts.
Vineet Gupta
New Works Associate
Vineet Gupta (he/they) is an emerging theater-maker, director, and actor, based in the Bay Area. He is currently completing his master’s degree at Stanford University, where he previously earned a bachelor’s in Theater and Performance Studies. He has directed six full-scale productions to date, including Cowhig’s The World of Extreme Happiness (AATP & TAPS) and Kushner’s Angels in America (Theater Lab) both of which ran in the 180-seat Pigott Theater and received around 400 audience members over three performances. He was also a collaborating director on Centrifuge, a theatrical evening showcasing multiple refugee narratives .
Vineet served as the Artistic Director for the Stanford Asian American Theater Project (AATP) in 2017-18, and has been awarded the Stanford Asian American Activities Center’s Performing/Fine Arts Award and Stanford University’s Sherifa Omade Edoga Prize for Work Addressing Social Issues in celebration of his theatrical work.
Mukta Phatak

Mukta Phatak is a multi-hyphenate artist living in NYC. She is wearing her newest hat as the Marketing Manager at EnActe, and is thrilled to invite more and more audiences and collaborators into the work that EnActe does. Proud of her South Asian ancestry, she strives to create change and inclusion in her theater practice, and is excited to do the same on the marketing end of the theatrical process. Her other career is being an actor, playwright, singer and creator. When she is at home she likes to crochet, cook, and watch the NBA.
Aparna Prakash

With a passion for the written word, a love for books, and a special liking for content creation, Aparna Prakash is a content writer and copy editor by profession and an avid blogger. She enjoys creating compelling content for different types of media and has written everything from her own college thesis to long form magazine articles, blogs, and even 100-word product descriptions. Her ability to focus on minute details has helped her create precise and concise content for websites, email campaigns, and other marketing content for over a decade. Aside from her professional writing, she took up blogging at the beginning of the pandemic and has managed to write once a week, since then.
