Sales and Marketing Director
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Design and execute a winning strategy to market and sell EnActe events and productions, both in-person as well as virtual
- Reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.
- 20 hours per week
JOB DUTIES:
- Work with the creative team to optimize sales & marketing activities
- Optimize our ticketing platform for audience reach and conversion
- Create a Sales Dashboard and provide weekly sales reports
- Present KPIs/analytics to strategy committees and management
- Develop and execute overall marketing strategy for entire season
and individual events
- Collateral design briefs – eblast, website, social media etc.
- Marketing rollout schedule, ticketing setup, and assets
- Press release and PR relations
- Oversee Social Media Marketing and Engagement
- Event Sponsorships
- Ticket Sales
- Channel Partnerships
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Performing Arts, Literature or business/marketing
- 3+ years of theater/events marketing and sales and/or non-profit sales experience.
- PR experience a plus
GOOD TO HAVE
Teaching experience in drama and performing arts (high school)
History of working in diverse and multicultural environments
Experience with curriculum creation for K-12 in any arts subject
Knowledge of basic audio / video editing
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms
- Excellent knowledge of G-Suite
- Experience with CRM systems
- Familiarity with Adobe design suite
- Familiarity with maintaining and updating websites
